It took almost 1 month for the repair on my hummer. I bought it in the beginning of January and it’s been in the repair shop as long as I have owned it. It has been at the dealership for 2 out of 4 months of ownership, I’ve never experienced this with any other car that I have owned. Hope this is a fluke because I really like it. Eric in service is great happy to deal with him and I’m hopeful I won’t see him for a while but if I do I will probably get out of this hummer for good.

This visit was quick and easy...just a NYS Inspection. But Jeff Fernandez took care of me in a jiffy. He's a very good service advisor who listens and gives good information when you need it. The employees were good and showed concern. The repair was not completed and I had to bring the truck in twice. Courtney did a nice job of communicating and did what she could. The technician that worked on my vehicle was great. I met him in the parking lot when he pulled my truck out. He gave me a very sincere apology and was clearly disappointed that he couldn't fix my Tahoe. I appreciated that and it made a difficult situation significantly better. He should be commended. There is a recall that when described seemed exactly in line with the issues I'm having. I was then told they had to replace another part and that they couldn't do the recall until that was complete. Seems odd to me. Then I was told the only part in the city was bad out of the box. On top of that, I was told that the part is specific to my VIN number. I asked twice, the VIN number?..........not the make and model? I was repeatedly told the VIN number. Seems incredibly unlikely to me and I see no logical reason this could be true. There is a second recall that there is no parts or resolution to. Engine propulsion - seems serious. My rating would a be zero or one star if it was specific to GM. My last five vehicles have been Tahoes and that streak is most likely ending. My grille finish (copper color) started peeling off. Three dealers all told me GM would not repair under warranty. To me, that's unacceptable and GM should stand behind their products. This has not been a dependable vehicle for me. This will impact the fleet decisions that I'm responsible for at my company and I don't often miss the opportunity to tell others about my struggles. GM used to stand for quality, those days seem to be in the rearview mirror

The sales experience with Steve Bagley was great and hence my rating above. When we picked up the vehicle we were very disappointed in the "prep" of the vehicle. There were two rock chips in the front, the window sticker residue was on the window, there was dirt and grass in the back of the vehicle, the rims were dirty, and there were scuff marks inside the vehicle on the plastic. Steve advocated and in speaking with the manager they will be completing a detail package when we come in for our first oil change and tire rotation. We appreciate that, however were disappointed when you spend almost 100k that the vehicle was so poorly detailed and prepped.

750$ for a ground strap. 2.5 hours labor and 1 hour diag. For a 30$ wire. Also bought the "BEST" extended warranty insurance. They denied my claim. Truck has 32K and is 3 years old. I've only owned it for 2 and have put roughly 6K miles on it. This was my first GMC after owning Toyotas my whole life. Will most likely never buy another.

After expressing my concerns of a check engine light on my 2024 Envista, I was very impressed with Courtney's professionalism, knowledge and willingness to have the purge pimp replaced the same day as I had a six hour drive home the following day. Mason, the technician reassured me that this is a repair that could be done relatively quickly and this eased my concerns. Courtney located the part and I picked up my Envista in less than four hours! It was a great feeling knowing my 24 Envista was repaired and ready for my long drive home. All of the staff from booking the appointment the service writer when I arrived and when the service was done were very friendly and professional. Three things were performed, multi point inspections, oil change and tire rotation. When I spoke to the service writer I asked how do they perform the tire rotation, front to back or rear cross rotation. She told me front to back. I told her o wanted rear cross rotation and went to explain that the rear tires move to the front keeping the same rotation and the front are crossed rotated to the rear. She said yes that’s how we do rear cross rotation. When the service was completed I inspected the rotation and it was performed incorrectly by cross rotating the front and the rear tires. When I went back to the shop counter my service writer was in the back somewhere and another service writer asked if he could help. I explained the incorrect tire rotation was performed and he asked another gentleman who said no that’s how you perform the rear cross rotation. Then instead of the service writer saying let me pull your truck back in the shop and correct the mistake he said oh let me have them call you in the morning which was not acceptable because I live a little more than an hour away. When I got home I took the truck to a shop and had the incorrect tire rotation corrected. I purchased a Lexus in November and this truck in January which cost about $160k and will think twice about doing any future business.

Mechanic never drove my car again after putting in fuel injector had me come get the car. I drove all of 15 mins before it started doing the same thing that led me to the dealer therefore he never fixed the root of the problem probably causing my car/engine more damage when he allowed me to drive away with in not totally fixing it. As someone who has dealt with Randall’s in CANANDAIGUA for over 30 years I was anxious to see “the service” at Bob Johnson’s. On the day my console screen went black I tried several times to phone the service department to schedule an appointment. The calls were never answered. I called the sales department who forwarded me to a service manager and they said he would definitely respond. He did not. I started calling the next morning and did connect with a lady who scheduled me for drop off service for the following day, which was fine, but I explained I would need a loaner because our driveway had just been sealed and we could not get our other vehicle out of the garage. She sent an email to the person who handles loaners and told me he would be calling. He did not. I made 2 more calls before my aptm to confirm I could have a loaner - again no response whatsoever. I showed for my drop off appointment anyway hoping to have a car to drive home and was greeted by Courtney - the first positive interaction I have had with BJ regarding the aptm. Courtney was clearly focused on customer satisfaction and making things better. She gets 10 stars. Obviously we did not get a loaner so my husband and I waited for 3 hours while they diagnosed the problem and thanks to Courtney did my first oil change and tire rotation. I was told they have to order a new radio and it could take 2 days or a couple weeks. At least I was told the car would be there for the day and we will be able to manage that next time. As I am driving it now with no click on signaling, no radio, no back up mirror - I hope the radio arrives soon and service can happen right away. While Courtney turned things around - it is very disappointing that phones were not answered and calls not made. Thank you for reading my long message. Karen

They are always open with the time it’s going to take to perform the service needed, polite, hands on, able to explain what and why it’s needed. We also had an issue with a tire sensor that we called about, we were able to just stop in at our convenience and they took care of it immediately. No appointment needed. My rating is based on the customer service and experience I had, not particularly the work done. I scheduled an inspection, just as I had done last year here, all to be told it failed because of tint that had been on my vehicle since its initial purchase years ago. When I pointed out my confusion being based on this same location having previously passed it, a manager was brought in who essentially told me tough luck, he will have a convo with that person and that I can either go pay a shop to remove it or do it myself but they can’t help me until this is done. Mind you - this is after sitting 1.5 hrs in the waiting area with my 1 yr old son, 10 yr old daughter and 12 yr old daughter. I was able to get the tint removed and it has now passed, but as a customer, this was an awful experience and I would expect more empathy from someone in a management position towards not only someone who is a repeat, multiple vehicle buying, always get my service done there customer - but also someone who is was actively holding their 1 yr old child while trying to ask for help figuring this out in a pinch of time. If you want honest feedback - there you go.

It just seems the cost of an oil change is getting out of control. Eight quarts of oil, an oil filter, and 30 minutes of work shouldn't cost almost $200. Besides that, the experience was great.

I cannot say enough about how well this experience was. My Car feels brand new and I really felt BJ went out of their way to make sure I was satisfied. I was more work than I expected, but, to be fair, it was mostly my fault for not getting the work done sooner. Not only that, but, they actually were able to find and fix the issue I came in for! Communication all day was superb by Courtney, and the Yech that worked on the car did a fantastic job! They even waited for me at the end of the day to get there after they had closed (also my bad!). Great job team! Thank you again for getting all that work done with no delays!

Went in for recall and inspection. Had an appt. Dropped car off at 7:30am. Also asked about issue I have had with my phone connecting since I bought it. I never heard a word all day. Got dropped off to pick up car at 5pm.. took her a good 15 min to find my key. Then told me oh yeah we didn't have the part for the recall. Did you want to leave it overnight? NO you have had it for 10 hours. I made an appt last week for this so why do you not have the part?(didn't say that out loud) I made an appt to have that done in a few weeks. Asked about phone. She said oh yeah it needed an update. You're all set. Phone still doesn't connect. She then says ok your car is out front. I go out and my car is not, in fact out front. Had to go around through dealership because by now the door is locked. I said my car is not out there. She said what? I said I can't find my car and this is why I never come here unless I have to. She walks away for a few min and finds out my car was parked out back.

Went in for oil change and an inspection A tire was below standard and failed I had 4 new tires installed along with the oil change . completing inspection requirement. Paid and returned home. I did not notice tire pressure sensors did not register on my dashboard. Called for a new appointment and after the service department looked I was told needed to change a sensor and it would be an extra 200 dollars. I asked how this was possible I was never told there was a problem during my initial work being done. The mechanic stated he noticed it was bad and noted on paper work. The service visit was fine, but I was not happy with the overcharge for a windshield wiper because aftermarket wipers won't fit properly. Really, $30 for a wiper that should cost half that and $10 for a 30 second install? Then when I tried to use a coupon on my phone from GM, I was told it had to be printed. That was not mentioned in the email I got - only to show the email to the service adviser and it was too much of a hassle to get it printed once at the dealer. GM really needs to stop nickel and diming customers with this stuff. Not sure if I'll be back.

In my initial call on Saturday I said that my car was having an issue that was causing the battery to drain. I said I was afraid it would die and I wouldn't be able to get it there. The only choice I was given was to drop it off on Monday at 9:30. Of course by then I had to have it towed. Unfortunately the driver who towed my car on Sunday put the keys in the drop envelope but didn't put my name and number on it. I had no idea. I called early that morning to say that my car had been towed there and asked that maybe it could be checked out earlier. I was told they would call me when it was checked in. By about 1:00 I got no call so I called and they had a car with no ID. Since I had the 11:00 appointment and had given all my information I would have thought that someone could have figured out that it was my car! And, of course, by then they had to replace the battery. I think the whole situation could have been handled better.

Your service department had the car - for 5 days (towed on Sunday, picked up on Friday) - and I had actually spoken with Eric prior to picking it up to ask if someone drove the car to make sure the issues were correct. I stopped Friday on my way home to pick it up, and not 5 miles from the dealer location, the check engine light came back on. I called the next morning and told them I was bringing it back, and that I would need a loaner vehicle. The service advisor Eric was not any help, advised that since it was a Saturday morning, they were short in the service area and that I would need to leave it again. Was told I could 'maybe pick up a loaner on Monday'. I mentioned that waiting until Monday wasn't an option since my job requires me to be in office (we do not have a work from home policy). Again I was told they 'didn't have a loaner, nor did Eric know how to do paperwork for it. I ended up speaking with Mark Houser, who I worked with when getting the new vehicle, he worked with Tony to get the situation sorted and provided me with a car to utilize while mine is in again for repairs.

After 2 attempts at getting to my appointment with you (due to my fault, things just came up) I finally got my car into the shop. After speaking with the receptionist, I was told to wait in the waiting lounge while service was taking place. I brought a book with me and was prepared to wait for my car. But the chauffeur man came and asked if I wanted a ride back home. I said no, I can wait for my car. He went back to Courtney and they came back and said you have a free ride home. We just talked about it out front. I said but I'm perfectly comfortable here I have my book with me, and I usually wait while the oil is changed, etc. Well, she wouldn't hear of that! She repeated that the chauffeur is supposed to take you home and will come and get you when the car is finished! I got the feeling I wasn't welcome to stay in the lounge so I agreed and away we went. Your service advisor, Tyler Wise, greeted me with a friendly smile and a warm welcome when I pulled in for my appointment. I am newly post-op from shoulder replacement surgery and he helped me with my bags both in and out of the car. He promptly escorted me to the new waiting room, pointed out both the refreshment area and the restroom. When all my maintenance work was complete, Tyler cashed me out including using my GM Rewards! That was a great savings! Please recognize Tyler for his exceptional customer service! He is patient, knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. I had to return to the dealership because I misplaced something and Tyler was right there to help me. He was my HERO!

I called on a Monday to report that it was noticed my car was leaking oil which was a concern as it is a lease that a little over a year old and wanted to make an appointment to get it looked at to avoid any bigger engine issues. I spoke to service department who stated it would be over week for me to get an appointment to wait however I reiterated I was not comfortable continuing to drive it while leaking oil. She sent me to a service advisor to get a sooner appointment. I left a message on Monday and Tuesday with no call back I call back original person and explain I heard nothing back and was sent to a service manager. I explained my frustration with lack of call back and she got me in for the following day. The needed repairs were due to bolts on transmission not being put on in the factory causing the transmission fluid to be leaking and the need for the transmission to be removed and reset. This was unexpected and I asked about rental/loner car as I have children I was made to feel like I was asking for a huge favor the car I received had no wiper fluid in it so I had to request that before leaving I will say I dealt with 4 staff throughout the process 3 of them were kind and friendly and however the other staff in my opinion was defensive and I felt as though taking time from his day
